This week saw NASA release another set of kick ass images of our distant neighbor Pluto, taken by the New Horizons spacecraft.
The images below show the best shots we got from this mission which include hi-res and closeup photos or Pluto’s smaller moons Nix and Hydra, the planets icy heart as well as a second mountain range on the edge of its dark equatorial regions. That is all we will be seeing of Pluto for the moment as NASA has the massive job of sifting through all the New Horizons data over the coming months but fear not as there is sure to be some more cool images and data to be released as and when they do.
